Skating Instructor

Seeking coaches who bring a desire to help continue to grow our programs!

  • Responsibilities include: teaching group lessons to all ages and abilities, enthusiastic participation in all program events. Must be able to commit to the entire session.
  • Must have a background in ice skating and a strong understanding of the fundamentals of skating. Consideration will be made for those who encompass the enthusiasm and desire to grow with us and for skaters seeking to begin their couching journey.

Classes are:

  • Mondays 4:50pm-5:40pm
  • Saturdays 3:00pm-3:50pm
  • Requirements: required to hold current yearly Learntoskateusa Instructor membership and certification, complete Safesport training, and successfully pass a learntoskateusa background screen.

Facility Service Technician

  • Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Accountability
  • Perform all aspects of building maintenance
  • Ice Maintenance – Edging, Zamboni Operations, Flooding and Painting
  • General maintenance of Ice Making Machines
  • Follow all safety programs associated with the operation of ice making and ice maintenance equipment
  • Daily/Monthly maintenance of all mechanical equipment
  • Keep maintenance logs on specified equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles and or machines
  • Operate fork lift and aerial lift
  • Special Event tear down and set-up
  • Assist with all grounds keeping (trash removal, lawn maintenance and snow removal)
  • Co-ordination and teamwork with building maintenance staff
  • Other job duties as assigned
  • High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years experience in a high profile ice or event center
  • Working knowledge of ice making and ice maintenance
  • Working knowledge of building maintenance and building systems
